The Experimental Lakes Area and IISD
IISD has signed an interim partnership agreement with the governments of Canada and Ontario to take over the operations of the world-renowned Experimental Lakes Area, a freshwater science research facility in northwestern Ontario, Canada. This video provides an overview of the history, unique features and important contributions of ELA, as well as how managing the facility would strengthen IISD's efforts to improve global freshwater management by directly applying world-class scientific research to create innovative policy solutions.
