Climate
IISD helps governments achieve a just and equitable energy transition and turn adaptation plans into action.
We are actively involved in the two main responses to climate change: mitigation and adaptation. We partner with countries to help them cope with a changing climate and transition to clean energy in a just and equitable way. By backing major initiatives such as fossil fuel subsidy reform and climate adaptation planning, we use our expertise to reduce greenhouse gases and help people build a more resilient future.
